Meet the Team:

Jonathan has 20+ years of sales experience and extensive knowledge in construction and land development.  He is a luxury property expert, a licensed Broker and earned his B.S. in Urban Development from Georgia State University in 1997.  Always active in our community, he served as 2012 President of the Lake Country Board of Realtors and served/chaired the MLS Committee Board for several years.  He currently serves on the Greene County Planning and Zoning Committee and serves as Chairman of Planning and Zoning for Citizens Involvement Committee (CIC).

Alyce is a native of the Lake Oconee area.  Prior to real estate, she worked in the dynamic software industry as Project Manager on various Pharmaceutical account teams, such as Wyeth and Roche.  Her projects encompassed multi-million dollar purchasing contracts and managing international product distribution.  She received her B.S. in Consumer Sciences from UGA in 1996 and is also a registered GA Real Estate Appraiser.  She currently serves on the MLS Community Board.  Their son is a student at Lake Oconee Academy, where Alyce served as the 2012 President of the Parents’ Association and coached basketball.

Steve Hepler, Buyer Specialist, spent over 35 years in sales, marketing and management in the consumer-packaged industry with worldwide corporations, including Gillette.  He and his wife, Hollie, relocated to Reynolds Lake Oconee from Atlanta to immerse themselves into our wonderful community.  Steve is passionate about people, real estate and bringing these two together.  He provides the highest-level service to our Clients and ensures each client makes a sound and informed purchase. 

Adam Caldwell, Buyer Specialist, joined The Vining Group from the fast-paced Atlanta real estate market.  He is a graduate of Georgia State University where he was also a player on the baseball team.  Post college, he spent several years as a sales representative with State Farm, which led him into the real estate industry.  His commitment to our Clients and overall knowledge of the lake area is a win-win for the team and our Clients.  

Carol Heppner, Buyer Specialist, has spent over 30 years in technology sales and management for Nortel and Siemens.  She earned her B.A. from Davidson College.  Carol and her husband, Kevin, moved to Reynolds Lake Oconee from Sandy Springs in 2011.  Carol’s area knowledge and patient demeanor make her the consummate Buyers’ agent.  Their daughter is a student at Lake Oconee Academy, where Carol was an assistant coach for the LOA girls’ basketball program.

Lisa Jones, Buyer Specialist, has over 20 years’ experience in the mortgage industry and is a valuable asset to our team because of it.  Lisa and her husband, Jeff, relocated to the Lake Country after falling in love with it on their first visit. An avid water enthusiast, Lisa has over 30 years’ experience in boating and holds a US Coast Guard Captain’s License and is a certified scuba diver.  Lisa has extensive construction and design experience. She also volunteers for Habitat for Humanity and The American Cancer Society.

Kris Freeman, Listing & Transaction Coordinator, has over 15 years of experience in real estate and insurance in supporting real property appraisers and financial advisers.  Kris brings strong organizational skills, energy, and creative thinking to The Vining Group.  She is a lover of animals and comes from a family with deep military service roots.  She and her husband, Ron, a Navy veteran, moved to the Lake Country from Winder and are loving the lake lifestyle!

Maribeth Krawczyk, Marketing, brings extensive experience in marketing, procurement, and project management from Georgia-Pacific.  She is adept in managing resources, budgets, and timelines with a focus on oustanding results.  She and her husband, Richard, relocated to Del Webb from Johns Creek.

Anna O’Neal, Projects Coordinator & Agent Liaison, with over 20 years’ experience in real estate and property management, there isn’t much she hasn’t seen or done in the industry.  After studying history at Georgia Southern University, she spent several years in Savannah, working in luxury real estate and managing historically-rehabbed communities.  She moved to the Lake Country in 2004, and her two children attend Lake Oconee Academy.  Passionate about history and restoration, she spends her spare time writing & studying history and photographing historic homes and properties.
