We are ready for SPRING! The Masters tournament, which has become our “unofficial start of the season”, is just around the corner and the real estate market is already heating up. This winter’s real estate activity was up over last year’s. In fact, year-over-year, our overall numbers continue to improve. If you compare all of 2016 to 2017 in sold inventory, you’ll see a dollar volume growth of 22% and a 13% increase in number of units. Moreover, when comparing January 2017 to January 2018, there’s an increase of 36% in residential sales and 63% increase in land/lot sales. We’re having a great start to 2018!
The inventory level for lakefront homes is low. So, if you’re looking to sell, now is the time to list with our team. The activity in our office and with our Agents demonstrates the increase of Buyers in the Lake Oconee market ready to purchase property. For Sellers, this is resulting in fewer Days on Market and higher List-to-Sale price averages. 2017 was a banner year for our team thanks to our amazing Clients! Alyce was presented with the Phoenix Award from the Lake Country Board of Realtors. The Vining Group finished the year with strong production numbers of 135 sold units totaling to a sales volume of over $28 million which resulted in receiving the KW 2017 #1 Team/Group and Platinum Medallion Recipient Awards. We’ve added some wonderful team members: Adam Caldwell (Buyer Specialist), Carol Heppner (Buyer Specialist) and Maribeth Krawczyk (Agent and Lead Coordinator). Each has really rounded out our team with their individual strengths and are helping our Clients reach their goals. We also opened our new office in Village Park on the Green, next door to Cafe 44.
